Hi all, please forgive me writing here in English, but I do not speak french.

Let me introduce myself:
My name is Robert, I am 32 years old and from Austria. I have been working as a graphic designer for a decade. And I am also a big fan of strategic board games.

Some years ago I began to redesign the maps of Cry Havok as I was planning to make a reprint release of the whole game together with a German fan. As I am a graphic professional, the layout design was my task and I put a lot of effort into it. We had started to search for the original copyright holders to get the ok for a new release. But the whole project never came into gears. All I have is a completely finished, redesigned map of "the village".

I think it is a pitty it never got released. So you might be interested to
have a look.

Image

You can have a look at it in full (downsized) here:
-> The Village (full overview)

And a 100% cut of the map so you can see the level of detail:
-> The Village (Zoomcut 100%)

The whole map has a size of 4500x6500 Pixel and is in full 300dpi print quality. If fans are interested, I am willing to release it.
Looking forward to any comments.

Kind regards,

Robert

I have tried to understand what you wrote by translating it with babelfish - funny translation :lol: - but I can guess the meaning.

If I will find some spare time this year, I would rework some more maps, at least those originals which came with the boxes.

At the moment I am very busy because I have to release my movie on DVD, and have to make some special effects for another movie, but I think it will slow down in spring.

As far as I can see you do like it, so I am motivated to do put some work into again :D

So as long as you do not miss the "yellows" it will be no problem ;)
