I see a lot of modules and version over there and in different websites. But what is the last version of the basic module and where can i download it?

You can find two different modules which share much of their content ( even if the files are different and don't mix up ) and are both pleasant to play :

- Scorion's module : Cry Havoc 2 http://scorion87.free.fr/vassal2/

- Gorodoff's module : Samurai Blades ( seek directly for it on the Vassal website )

It can't be said that one is really more recent than the other, it's just a matter of choice ( personnaly I use both modules ). Note that Gorodoff and Scorion delete the older files as soon as they upload newest versions of them.
