Martin Moser (from Germany) has created this Cry Havoc
module for Vassal, the game engine that Rodney Kinney
created initially for Advanced Squad Leader (or Virtual Advanced Squad
Leader, VASL, hence the name of the engine which fits in
beautifully for our medieval-time skirmish game. The
following extensions are now available:
> Siege,
> Croisades (Outremer),
> The Fortified Medieval Town,
> The Welsh Castle,
> Dragon Noir 1,
> Dragon Noir 2,
> A 3-map pack (El
Khaf, Castle, The Oupost & The French Bastide).
> Vikings
> A 5-map pack (Open
Field, Ford, Coast 1 & 2, Shingle Bay)
> The Fortified
Harbor
> The Templars' CastleVassal
includes all the features of a PBEM engine like CyberBoard.
In addition, it lets you play on line in real time, which is
a definite plus for gameplay. I provided Martin with the set
of counters in all stances and personalized the user's
manuals for Cry Havoc and Siege.

Updates |
Download |
Updates include fixes made to the base module or extensions
after their release and avoid having to download a full
version again. They are made of a ".jar" file to be placed
in the same folder as the module or extension to patch. Just
double-click the ".jar" file and the update process will run
automatically. Should you face a problem with this
procedure, please read this FAQ. Don't forget to delete any "*Backup.*" file
that could be generated by the update process. |
